I think Machida is a boring fighter and don't care to see him fight again.

Great GIF's, that knee to the liver was a thing of beauty.

Interestingly this post proved you yourself are indeed a moron.

But, you can't counter somebody who has no offense.
Tito had absolutely nothing for Machida, and Machida was content to peck away and get a decision. Even when he dropped Tito he followed up with 2 shots on the ground, and then just camped out in his guard and almost got subbed because of it, would have been poetic justice.
Machida DOESN'T TRY TO FINISH. Is it too much to ask that in addition to his great technical ability he get even the slightest bit of aggresion or desire to finish off somebody?
BJ, Thiago, and Wanderlei were all fighting opponents who were much more of a threat, yet when they got their guy hurt, they got aggressive and FINISHED THEM OFF. If Machida would act even the slightest bit like these guys nobody would ever call him boring.
Yes, he is incredibly technical, yes he is also passive and content with winning on points.
Compare him with his teammate and equally technical striker Anderson Silva, both have amazing technique, both probably have the same ability to finish, but Silva has the desire and aggression to finish or at least engage for more than 1 out of 15 minutes, he would not only be a much more exciting fighter, he would be a much better fighter.
So don't give me this bullshit about "oh you just want to see a brawl, he is too technical for you" because that is chickenshit. The very fact that he is so technically sound makes it all the more frustrating, because he could finish off fights or at least take a forward step and not only would he be more exciting he would be better.
Machida almost paid because he let a fight he could have ended in 3 minutes go 3 full rounds.

Truly excellent post. Impressive.

He almost lifts Tito up with that knee to the liver.
Machida will be more exciting when other fighter pushes him like Soko.
For the first time I have seen some holes in Machida`s fighting. He can get hurt in clinch by strikes. Still he didnt lose any round as usual.
WAR MACHIDA!

BTW Lyoto's name is Lyoto, and he was pissed that people called him Ryoto, seemingly assuming that because it was a japanese name, Lyoto was a mispronounciation of the R; in japanese what is used is an in-between between R and L.
His name is Lyoto Machida, never was Ryoto.

Even tho Machida did very little in terms of actions, everything he did was near flawless. Gotta him props for that.

sorry but about 10 seconds worth of clips from a 15 minute fight doesn't prove that that fight wasn't frustrating and really quite dull
if most other fighters performed like that people would've been complaining, but seeing as most people here seem to think that saying they enjoy Machida throw fakes and dance around the ring means that they've got some ascended appreciation and knowledge of MMA, I'm sure it'll go down as one of the top 10 fights this year...
