I think Machida is a boring fighter and don't care to see him fight again.

im sorry, but thats not karate ... thats called a PARRY in which almost every martial art has. I am currently taking MT and call me stupid, but that looks like a plane old parry to me.

i like the fighter and his style, but i think some people are too quick with the new "karate is the shit/ TMA's are back! " thing, i would like to see him in a stand up war with a muay thai based fighter, don't forget the japanes created kickboxing (adapted muay thai) because their karate fighters were getting crushed by thai fighters in stand up. let's see what machida can do in the clinh and if he can check lowkicks.

He is like Dave Attell's comedy...his biggest fans are other comedians. You need to have SOMe training to REALLy see the beauty of Machida.

I like him, however I see a healthy Tito dominating him by putting him on his back early and riding his gaurd until Herb Dean stops the fight because of severe cuts on his forehead.

I think Machida has enormous potential. He's such a well rounded fighter, I think he could possibly be in title contention in the near future.

great post, i agree 100%, martial arts is both fighting (martial) and art, hence the name, people who do not appreciate the art and just like fighting cannot truly appreciate Machida, thanks for the refreshing post
