That's boxing. Ali was my favorite fighter ever but many people felt he ran a lot. But go back and look at his record. He stopped a LOT Of guys in the 60's. The fights that defined him though were the ones where he was put to the test and made to fight for the length of the fight. Joe Frazier for instance. That's what Machida needs. Tito is too one-dimensional and couldn't pressure him.
Getting back to boxing, the style of dance and jab is what has turned off many to the sport. So many want to be Ali. Mayweather is the current king of that style of fighting. In my opinion it's one reason fans got turned off by boxing and on to MMA. Put two fighters like that together and you get the most boring fight imaginable. Arlovski and Werdun as an example. Both great fighters just like Machida but yeah, that style can be boring as hell. Especially in a shorter 3rd fight like we have in MMA.
