Okay, I read a recent thread about this guy, Emen Boztepe. Apparently, he and the Gracie clan were having this sort of pissing contest over who was a better fighter a few years back and basically neither side would agree to a fight. So basically, Emen didn't have to test his Wing Chun(Ving Tsun) and the Gracies didn't have to smack his very vain and arrogant ass around. ( At least he seems that way in his writings but that could be a mischaracterization)

Now, I saw his videos and watched where he used wing chun and beat the shit out of some guys who practiced Kung Fu. He looked pretty devastating actually. I also saw him in a sort of techno-pop montage of him beating the shit out of various ppl. Actually, he struck me as sort of Bruce Lee-ish(Which he should since it's Wing Chun) Now it's really hard to tell if he's not just putting on a smoke and mirrors exhibition but I smell a huckster.

Now considering that Wing Chun has not faired too well in MMA and although I don't consider myself a very tough guy or professional fighter or even that great a grappler, I figure that this guy has never fought anyone even remotely tough. I figure I can take him!

In the interests of pissing Emen off enough to make him fight an MMA match, I (a weak pissant nobody) officially challenge him since he's evidently too afraid to fight real fighters.

If you too want to shame Emen into fighting, sign up on the sheet provided below. (True it's not likely that I'd go thru with the fight but it seems liek Emen isn't all that brave either so I'm counting on him not calling me on it )

You realize how dumb this thread is, right?

This guy isn't an MMA fighter and I seriously doubt he'd sign to MMA rules. He seems the type that would know and attack pressure points... If he were willing to fight under MMA rules I'd fight him, sure.

Still pointless because it's never gonna happen.

What rules would you fight this guy with? No gloves, no mat, no time limits?

Seems to me that he's just as susceptible with those conditions.

LOL, I can not believe he was going to fly to america and kick a Gracie ass because one of their students called him a chicken on the internet. and the UFC made the Superfight so this can happen.

I remember when Blackbelt Magazine published the letters I was so pumped to see this fight between two top instructors of the two biggest schools. At the time I was actually disapointed when shamrock got the fight and did not think he deserved it. Over Time my opinion has changed.

No rules? ...I'm not prepared to deal with pressure point attacks. No.

He wanted a no rules fight against Rorion. I don't blame Rorion for not taking the fight or wanting to do it at the police academy. That could easily be leathal under those conditions and there's a lot of people out there with no respect for life.

Emin and many Wing Chun practioners look amazing in these demos when there opponent attacks them how they want to be attacked

In reality Wing Chun has some good techniques but like most styles, many weaknesses.
