Fight to the death: Would best UFC/MMA fighter win?

The following question is currently being discussed on twoplustwo.com, a poker forum:

The following five people are locked in a ring, and each has no gloves. Of the equally sized five, whom would be the last standing in a fight to the death?:

* World’s best boxer
* World’s best karate and or other Asian martial arts
* World’s most elite Navy Seal as far as hand to hand combat is concerned.
* World’s best real streetfighter from a gang or whatever.
* World’s best UFC champion

David Sklansky originally posed the question (and he went on to clarify that they would be one-on-one matches).

Some of the answers are hilarious. Especially considering that most people are picking the SEAL to win.

I posted some of my favorite answers (and some backround info) at http://ufcjunkie.com/2006/12/17/the-...on-ever-asked/

The original thread is at http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...=0#Post8252610

I had to ask the question here, though: is there anyone who actually think the best UFC/MMA fighter couldn't be any one of those guys?

(And yes, I know it's absurd to even discuss this.)

ummmmm i woulda maybe thought a top navy seal...cause they train to kill......but then again if someone like chuck wanted to punch them to shit and not let them get close, he could.

a good bjj fighter could systematically break your limbs i suppose.

I would say the best MMA champ or the best Asian martial artist. These two, in my opinion, would stand the best chance of disabling their opponent in order to....uhh.....kill them?

The seal. Seals are smart. he would climb up top the cage, keep away from everyone till the crop was ripe, then begin reaping

Navy Seal by beaing a bad ass, most highly trained person on the earth

EDIT: They all 5 are in the ring at the same time, correct?

The one and only.

Though I think he sees himself more as one of the world's great thinkers rather than a mere poker player.
