MMA fans unite:The dream has come true BUT ....MMA

Before i joined this forum, i was always reading threads all over the Sherdog forum. I rem the days when everyone here was wondering where mma was headed ,and if ti would get BIG as it is . I also rem how so many people wondered if the Pride USA and WFA would really do a show in the US. Its just amazing that even though all these dreams have come alive we fans continue to isolate mma organizations. All over the forum talk is about which Org is the best; UFC, PRIDE,WFA etc . Lets all rem from what humble origins mma has come and lets enjoy the variety of choices we have. We can now watch so many interesting match ups as these MMA orgs try to fight over the audience. I guess whenever we get hysterical about our favorite MMA Orgs. dont forget to support others too cause thats what MMA needs to even become better
thank you

I agree. Support MMA overall, not just one organization. Good point.

I agree with you completely, but the fact is the majority of the posters on here are pimply faced teens who thrive on the Xvs.X threads & love going back and forth with pointless comments. People like this are the reason I rarely post on here. The sad thing is that most of the "fans" who post on here don't remember how it was 10-15 years ago. They were too busy playing legos.

Wow you are a complete idiot. So are you saying that every stupid post or comment on this site comes from the younger generation. I am 22 and have only been a true MMA fan for about 3 years now. But I consider myself to be as knowledgeable as most MMA fans, or people on this website for that matter. Judging by your post it appears you consider YOURSELF to be a pimply-faced teenager if all they do is post ignorant shit on this board. Please just shut up and go away.

Wow, u sure showed me!! lol. Actually , maybe you have a point. I guess it has nothing to do with age, just immaturity. I just get tired of sifting through the garbage on this site in order to get to the things that are worth reading. As far as me being one of the "pimply faced" teens that I initially referred to...the answer is no. Review my posts if you like. Iv'e been pulled into the ridiculous back and forth nonsense a time or two, but generally refrain from getting into that side of things. I just think that if some of the younger fans could remember how MMA once was, they'd appreciate the TUF era that much more.

Stupidity is to be enjoyed. I don't understand gettng upset at it. Sure, I like the intelligent discussion we get here, and I generally just come here for news since anything close to important will invariably have 80 threads. But I'm more amused by the blind nuthuggery, especially after someone's favorite fighter loses and their fans MUST sit down and write a thesis on how they were screwed/unfair/etc. It's fun, because 800 people will take the bait.

Back to the original point, yeah. Support MMA no matter the org.
