We won't truly know that until Gomi fights UFC fighters. But don't you already think he's done more in his career than Ken-Flo? I mean, the dude's beaten a lot of great fighters.
Of the fighters you listed, the closest one to possibly being exposed would be Melendez, though he has beaten Guida in the past and could hang with anyone in the UFC at LW. The rest are absolutely among the very best in the world.

The fact Florian might be a bad matchup for Gomi doesn't really mean much to your assumption that UFC LWs are better than non-UFC LWs. That is just a single matchup among thousands possible.
There was more competition at LW for years in Japan, due to the UFC not having a 155 division for awhile... Shooto, the Pride and K-1 Heros GPs... UFC had nothing like that to determine the best guys. __________________
