He wouldn't be able to run from Shogun or Wanderlei. The Chute Boxe "rush in and bust your chin" style is perfect for beating Machida. (Yes I know that neither one is still with Chute Boxe so save it.)

A lot of people make the argument that he wins and that's what it is all about. Its not. Sure winning is huge but so is putting on a good fight. Why is Patrick Cote still in the UFC after losing time and time again once debuting? Because he draws excitement from fans. Machida won't be able to elude, evade, run (whatever you call it) from everyone. Someone will wind up getting him and then he will be cut from the roster.

You step in the ring against high caliber fighters and lets see you dismantle people the way he has. Most likely you would choose running, enough if these stupid fucking Machida threads. The man makes every fighter look bad that goes against him, it his opponents fault also if they can't figure him and beat him at his own game.

Tito is slow and lethargic. They setup Machida with Tito for a reason. Because Tito has very weak boxing and is nothing but a wrestler. That plays right into Machidas hands. Tito actually fought a smart fight but he just lacked the required skills to beat or even challenge Machida.

Both Chuck and Crocop were able to counterpunch Wanderlei's charging in style, but it would be a test for Machida since he doesn't have the same power as those guys.

To solve this endless argument, I will propose a compromise: he runs, but he also eludes people's range effectively. I'll call it running when he is in the better position, like when he doesn't follow up on a strike that throws his opponent off balance or rhythm but instead backs away still. Yet, he does elude people when he stays out of range while dashing in and out to score a strike. If he gets better boxing so he can follow up his one-twos with powerful combinations or sustained attacks, he would not be running at all
