List of Fixed fights?
Hi all,
Could you guys give me a list of known or highly suspected fixed fights in either the UFC or Pride. I am doing some research on fixed outcomes in sports and would be interested in viewing some of these fights. Thanks in advance

Dan Severn had a couple fixed fights in his early days of UFC, not sure which ones though.
Mark Coleman had a fixed fight in the UFC and I know Quinton Jackson and Kazushi Sakuraba was fixed in Pride, Rampage lost to him via RNC, there was an article on it awhile back.

Read the FAQ
Most of the well known fixes are listed in there.

Not fixed. Just a lousy decision.

UFC:
Oleg Taktarov/Anthony Macias
Don Frye/Mark Hall III
PRIDE:
Ogawa/Goodridge (Never been substantiated, but it's suspected)
Any fight Takada ever won

Wow.
None of this is correct.
The only documented allegation of a fix in the UFC in Taktarov-Macias at UFC6. To the best of my knowledge, there is zero evidence or even any allegations that Coleman or Severn were involved in any fixed matches in the UFC, though Coleman does admit to working his fight with Takada at Pride Fighting Championships 5.

No he didn't. It's suspected that his fight at U-Japan was a work, but none of his UFC fights were works.

I've never heard this before. Would you mind telling which fight was supposed to have been a work?

Actually, that fight was supposed to be a work, but Quinton didn't play along. They told him that if he got knocked out or choked unconscious that he would get paid more, but instead, Quinton went out and tried as hard as he possibly could to beat the hell out of Sakuraba and slam him so hard that he'd make him part of the ring mat, and in the end, when he gassed out and finally got caught in a RNC, instead of going out the way he was supposed to, he tapped out.

Don't forget about Don Frye/Mark Hall at UU96.
