becuase MMA is not popular over by Israel. Krav manga is something used to fight for your life, MMA is something for entertainment and competition

I dont know what class you saw, maybe a bad school, but Krav Maga serves its purpose which is to teach an easy effective combat system to people who know nothing in a short amount of time. In terms of a street fight, Krav Maga has pretty good techniques....but like I said it depends on the school

Its probably not that popular and Isreal doesnt really have a huge population. Even with china's enourmous population they dont have any fighters in the major MMA orgs
