Sakuraba K1 heros bout FIXED FIGHT.

Before anything I would like to say Sakuraba is one of my favorite fighters.
And he always will be.

BUT.

If that wasn't a case of a fixed fight I don't know what is.
The fight should have been stopped in the first 45 seconds.
Sakuraba was beaten, he was bloodied, he wasnt defending himself.

Come on his head was under the bottom rope and he was being pounded.
Blow after blow.

I dont know how they could justify that fight not being stopped.

But K1 has too much money invested in Sakuraba for him to loose I guess.

If this happened in the UFC.
This is the kinda thing that would get the UFC banned again in the states.

Hang your head in shame K1.

Its Just Sad.

1. An argument could be made that Smirnovas didn't finish Saku, and they always let him take a lot of punishment - he's made a career out of it.

2. It's "lose" not "loose" you retarded monkey

3. Wrong forum

Fixed is the wrong term to describe the match.

Coleman vs. Takada is my definition of fixed. The ref did give Sakuraba a little more time though to get out of his bad situation than I am used to (Ortiz vs. Shamrock).

i think the caol uno fight looked but fishy than sakuraba's. uno was bloodied and beaten and could barely see, still, just at the end, the canadian/indian fighter suddenly stopped fighting and uno took his back for an rnc. that fight looked iffy, but i won't question til i have proof. til then, i just say uno magically pulled it off.
but the point that k1 refs are weak is an understatement.

If it was a fixed fight do you really think Uno would take so much punishment? All of Mamba's MMA losses have been by submission. Uno was supposed to go in there and submit him, noone would think anything would be fishy about that, so if it would've been a work they might as well have gone that route instead of having an bruised and possibly injured Uno.

Horrendous job by ref? Yes

Fixed? No.

Look up the meaning of fixed. If they were fixing the fight for Sakuraba, then they wouldn't have fixed it for him to get beaten within an inch of his life.
