Icon3 Is ted Dibiase's Million Dollar Dream move useable in MMA?

I need someone to help settle an argument. Is this a fictitious hold, or can you actually use it in an MMA match to choke out/put asleep an opponent?

Can you post a picture of it? I don't remember exactly how it goes other than being a sleeper with an arm in.

with the arm in there i dont see how it would work....
Seems like it would work better if you just choked the guy with his own arm

It looks more like a half Nelson / arm control move. The closest thing I can think that this looks like is the choke I learn to do I a crucifix, the hand that the guy is using to control the guys left arm though would be yanking on the victim's left gi lapel. while the half nelson hand would be extending. The way he has it in the photo though no way is it a choke.

This is a real choke. I've used it in Jiu-Jitsu before.

Generally, though, I grab the guys hand and pull his arm around (Like in the picture, but pull it around futher), so his own wrist is putting pressure on one right side of the neck, and my wrist (Dibiase's left wrist) is putting pressure on the other (left) side of the neck. I don't do BJJ, but it's used in Japanese JJ.

The Tazmission is the way to go as far as wrestling choke holds. I believe they call it a Kataha-jime(sp) in judo.

The sleeper is used all the time in MMA. Hell, Frank Trigg still hasn't figured out how to stop it.
