If RJJ and Silva fought....

Utilizing the following rules:

5 minute rds
1st round Boxing rules
2nd round MMA rules

In your opinion would Silva be able to survive the first round, to be able to get to the second round?

I am sure Silva could get on his bicycle for 2 or 3 rounds before Roy would force him to engage?

So one round running, yea.

How about
(3 minute rounds?)

Rounds 1-4---------Boxing
Round 5 & 6--------MMA
Rounds 7, 8, 9-----Boxing
Round 10-----------MMA

One...

I think if Roy knew that he was going to have to face an MMA round he would press the action.

Two...

I don't think in any scenario RJJ makes it out of an MMA round.

The question is could Roy Jones keep Silva from taking him down in a 3 minute round?

or

If Silva got him down after 1 or 2 minutes.....could Silva submit him with the 1 minute left.

(Chief--ha we are just bullshittin' with these fantasy rules....but hey it's fun?)

It could be a war of attrition if RJJ did alot of damage in the first couple of Boxing rounds to slow Silva enough to last a round of MMA?

Are we talking Cage or Ring?

Silva would pound him out on the ground in seconds. He wouldn't even need to sub him.

imo five minutes is a long time and roy will know he doesnt have to really pace himself since its only one round i think he will go all out looking to knock silvas head off and not go to the second round slim chance that silva can make it to the second but if he does than he takes it.
