If Randy had KO'd Cro Cop instead of Gonzaga.
Would it be safe to say that we'd all be on our knees saying prayers to him with candles and "Couture" tattooed on our foreheads?
Seriously though...
1. He'd instantly be rated #1 All-Time.
2. A lot of people would put him at #1 Heavyweight in the World. Fedor vs. Randy would be a long debate that would stretch for hundreds of replies...

it would not make him #1. It'd make him #3 or #4 until he beats Nog, and after that he'd still not be #1.

i just wish we'd had a chance to see crocop v couture...to me, I wasn't too saddened to see CC get "folded", but I instantly knew that we'd never see CC-Randy, that was the sad part. One thing's for sure, IF somehow randy had KOd CC, the hype that followed would have been justified.
The amount of overhyping GG is receiving is really starting get old. Yes, it was an impressive and unexpected HK, but people are already pretending he's the new Fedor. Those type of overstatements only cause people to turn against GG imo....

yes he would have.
But remember, Randy has had what, three, four maricals now? No one thought he could beat vitor, or chuck, or tito, or sylvia, or (in this hypothetical senario) cro cop. Gonzaga got one amazing upset, but hasn't consistantly overcame the odds.
