If Pride & UFC combined...top 3 per weight class
I'm new here, so forgive me if this has been done to death.

I'm wondering who you think would be the top three in each weight class (using the UFC weight divisions) if the UFC and Pride consolidated. Who would be the champion in each weight class? I'm not going to pretend to know as much as most of the people here, so I won't give my picks (at least not yet).

I like your HW and LHW picks, although I'd reverse Wandy and Chuck.

I really don't know enough about the Pride WW and LW fighters to make educated picks, although I'm thinking they've got someone who could take out BJ.

The subject Pride vs. UFC is the daily thread, so yes, this have been done to death! But since you’re honest about being a noob I’m going to respond to this one.

HW= all pride. 1. Fidor, 2 and 3. We will see at the final conflict 2006
LHW= I(!) will go for: 1. Silva(Pride) 2. Shogun(Pride) 3. The iceman(UFC)
MW= My picks: 1. Franklin (UFC) 2.Dan (Pride) 3. A.Silva (UFC)
WW= All UFC. 1. Pierre 2. Hughes 3. BJ Penn
LW= To be honest I haven`t seen too many LWs, so I will not rank them.
