BTW....if Hughes is too strong for his body wouldn't he explode?
Saku has better submissions better standup but you should be flamed for thinking he is better at wrestling.....

Fine...here you go.

I've yet to have seen Sak outgrappled in the ring despite having fought fighters much bigger than him throughout his career. Meanwhile I recall Hughes being bitched slapped grappling wise by a much smaller BJ Penn. And I don't recall Hughes being too successful when he faced a pure grappler in Hallman.

I think sak would nullify hughes every gameplan and beat him rather easily if the fight happened in his prime you guys forget that sakuraba did fight and beat bigger stronger guys than matt hughes and even better wrestlers ala randleman thats when randleman was still considered a contender...Saku vs hughes was a dream match too bad it never happened...

Their is just no money in the olympics or proffesional wrestling(not the fake wrestling).
Fair enough. Didn't read this earlier. Assuming you're not bullshitting....guess I'd have to take your word for it.

So you think that in Finland we are somehow ignorant of wrestling? I know who Dan Gable and Cael Sanderson are although I fail to see what they have to do with the subject.

Oh sorry, you've seen Sanderson wrestle so Hughes is olympic level wrestler. What was I thinking...

Hughes was a great college wrestler but that different than world class, and Hughes never demonstrated that he could've hang wth the worlds best.

Saku beat Randleman and Randleman is a much better wrestler and much stronger then hughes.

Finally, the cage is a great asset for Hughes -- if he fought a prime Sak in a ring, Sak would sub him.

Yeah.. Saku with all his insane wins by Triangle Choke.

Hughes would mop the floor with Saku.. and Saku is my hero.. but it is a fact..

Royce manhandled Yoshida.
Hughes manhandled Royce.

Does this not give people an indication for how strong and well rounded Hughes is?
