And after July 5th he will have two wins over top 10 guys. Sorry people. I dont think forrest is the best LHW there is by any means and when he does win the title he wont keep it long. But he's better than rampage.

most of the posts that i've seen about forrest are like this one, so no, he's not overrated because no one thinks very highly of him to begin with.

Double tough guy that has a punchers chance against Rampage.
Wonder what sherdoggers will say if a TUFfer wins a belt?

well first off he did not lose to Tito. The UFC needed Tito to win cause they were building a rematch with Chuck. Tito had to win all of his fights to get there and that would of screwed everything up. I acknowledge it was a close fight but Forrest won. Even great fighters lose to people they should not. Look at Cro Cop. I know that he is better then he displayed in the UFC. Dan Henderson has not looked good in the UFC yet either but I know the man has skiils. Forrest is more deserving than anyone else in the UFC right now. I think since Machida won his last fight he would be the nest in line though.

I really hope he proves all you wrong. His game has been improving ever since TUF and you all are going to see the best Griffin you've ever seen against Page.

Forrest is not over-rated; however, your ability to evaluate a fighter is overrated. Forrest controlled Shogun and neutralized his gameplan. His fight against Tito was very close (arguably Forrest won that fight). As for the Jardine fight... Forrest got smoked! I'm a fan of Forrest and Rampage, but I will not be surprised if Forrest wins.
