I know there are alot of Forrest fans on here but i cant see what the guy has possibly done to deserve a title shot. He beat Shogun fair enough but he still didnt impress me, mainly cause it wasnt half the Shogun we were used to watching. He lost to Jardine, Tito and has never impressed me with any of his skills. I admit the man is a cardio monster but unless this oppurtunity has given him a massive boost and we see a new array of skills i cant see anything more than Forrest getting KOd by Rampage and also losing to the majority of the top 10 ranked LHWs.
yes he is. even if with one win against a top 5 shogun, it is his only quality win.

from now on always rooting for Rashad to thank him for last UFC.
People in america are strange, they have more respect for a promoter (dana) than for fighters and he has more fans than them?!WTF?

You're absolutely right. His one impressive win came against a one-legged shogun who was gassed half to death within two minutes of the first round. Forrest won but he still looked like shit getting taken down by and striking evenly with a guy who was so fatigued that he could hardly stand up. Shogun lost more to exhaustion than to Griffin.
forrest is a guy that does what he can. He doesnt quit doing that for all the rounds. He is relentless and has a huggable personality. Its rly hard to not like the guy.
Is he up there with the top 5 at 205? I dont think he is. This is the most undeserved tittle shot this year. But hey he did coach TUF together with Rampage. At the end of each they let the coaches go at it. Rampage just happens to own the belt.
Think this is more a TUF thing then an actual UFC(ladder) title shot thing. And in the end i dont dont mind who is fighting Rampage, that guy rocks!!!
