a p4p list is a serious deal....Forrest isnt number 8 material yet...thats like a serious list to be put on

1. I'm sure he's very concerned about your respect. Even if you felt he lost to Rampage, I fail to see how you can't be impressed that he went in there toe to toe with him.

2. LOL at the part I bolded. Come on, man. It's a p4p list. How is that serious? It's a complete fabrication that will never, ever be able to be backed up. I think rankings at particular weight classes are mich more important.

How can someone who fights smaller guys be rated so high on the p4p list.

Yeah but everyone seemed to be comfortable having Quinton up high on the P4P list after doing what beating Marvin Eastman, Chuck, and Hendo in a lackluster fight it was a freaking half hour wrestling match for christ sakes.

Two wins in the last year and a half that have a credibility IMHO and you want to wreck on Forrest for stomping Shogun and then controlling Rampage, don't blame anyone but Rampage in that fight because if he really wanted it he could have just ran in and slugged it out with forrest but he let forrest control him.

I don't think Forrest should be number 8 at least 9 or 10, but for his work ethic and all around fight ability he deserves to be recognized. Like I said it's my opinion but come on.

thats actually the whole point of the list btw

to the guy who the Forrest avatar, like i said im not complaing he is #1 on the LHW list...he does have the credintials on hes list of fights he has won good for him. i am impressed he beat rampage cause even if it was controversial thats not an easy thing to do

a P4P list is saying atleast IMO, you are a serious, well rounded ELITE fighter that P4P can hang with anybody. and Forrest is not. you even said it, he gots a true win over Shogun...and thats it thats pretty much all he gots and a loss to unranked Jardine, loss to unranked washed up Tito and wins againts B fighters.........and a close couldv gone either way win to Rampage. now after this resume..Sherdog is telling ppl this guy is an Elite fighter just a notch under Fedor/Nog?? now way holmes

Hasn't Forrest proven himself as a well-rounded fighter (struck with Rampage, grappled with Shogun)? And that he can hang with anybody, just by those fights (not necessarily that he won or lost, but he most definiely "hung" with both guys)? It should be pretty obvious that most people's P4P rankings are really just "all-weight" rankings, and go based on what people do in the cage. Forrest's win, both over guys who were high P4P guys before he fought them, has earned him a spot.

If you're going to count guys like Minowa, then you have to count Monson, Chael Sonnen, Stephan Bonnar (X 2). Fedor is still on there because if he was taken off, people would shit a brick and he has a mystique about him. Why is Gomi still there? It's all completely arbitrary, and they mix and match why they put guys on there. Gomi is on there for past credentials, but Rampage was on there because he beat Chuck and Hendo. He wasn't anywhere near the list before that. Forrest is getting the same treatment as Rampage, but he's not going as high (even though the circumstances are similar) because he doesn't ahve the same total resume, but his recent wins warrant him getting a spot.

but he shouldnt get that much credit imo to be an elite fighter just yet, like even he said, "im just guy who is gonna bring it". well you know what...every fighter brings it when they fight doesn't mean they deserve to be P4P the best in the world

just my opinion...like i said when he defends hes belt and wins...being hes third win against a ranked fighter (even if its controversial), i will root for him for proving me wrong. whats so wrong with that? let me have an opinion on Mr. Forrest who got brutally knocked out 4 fights back
