Oh great, now that Pride vs. UFC threads are starting to die, people have to come up with DREAM vs. UFC threads... stop this shit already!

I'm scared what will happen if Adrenaline and Affliction have decent shows.

Seriously, I hate it when people start stupid threads like this.

I enjoyed DREAM and think it's great but wtf is the point? All you're doing is attracting unwanted attention from the guys over at the HW forum. Now I see a bunch of people here bashing DREAM who never post in the contenders forum.

It's because of posts like this that this happens. You're ruining it for everyone.

if you like onesided battles then you shoudl buy old tapes of the WWF from the 80s when it was matches like Machoman vs Iron Mike Sharp and you knew who was going to win every time, myself i'll take a competitive match that goes back and forth and im not sure who is going to win until the end any day. Part of the reason i like going to the smaller show or watch some of the stuff on HDNET, i dont know alot of the guys but they are on an even skill level and can put on some great fights.

It is not about Us vs Them. We are all MMA fans why can't the event stand on it's own no matter the affiliation. UFC, Pride, Dream. So what a good fight is a good fight, let it go.

Is it really necessary to reply to your own thread 1 minute after you post it? You really couldn't have put that in the opening post?

Just enjoy the shows for the first year at least!

Definately way too early. Dream 3 was great. but let us not forget

They completely mishandled Trigg who they wanted in the MWGP and didnt get him for it.......in the end the fights are good enough he wont be missed on an excitement factor but the mishandling of that itself does show they do not quite have their act together yet.

The Aoki / JZ thing was one of the worse things I have seen in MMA in recent history.

They have managed to give us some good fights which we should all be happy about but they do seem to have some organizational and management issues going on. They arent even coming close to selling out the arenas, AFAIK they dont have a TV deal in Japan. Overall they still have an uphill battle.

Seeing as Dream just had their 3rd event one can understand the org having some no namers, UFC 85 isn't looking all that amazing minus the fact that its got like 13 fights and all their top tuf'ers, its like a decent ultimate fight night, Hughes should not be headlining at all at this point nevermind his opponent Alves who I actually like, Is 85 gonna be free on Spike? That would up the value of it. Alot of those guys are bland boring fighters that lack personality, But some of those fights will kick ass.
