Don't Call Yourselves *TRUE* MMA Fans If You're Guilty of This

Why do MMA fans jump on and off bandwagons based on one or two fights? Can someone show me the calculations?

Here's what I mean. I've seen a ton of threads that read "Is Crocop done?", "Crocop Sucks", etc and it's all based on two fights. These morons completely ignore the fighter's past and just look at the present. Same with Couture, people are going to tell me he's #1? How the hell can people call themselves true fans of the sport and say that Couture is #1? I love Randy just as much as anyone else but we have to be realistic.

Crocop's record: 22-6
Randy's record: 16-8

But people can't see that? If Crocop won his last 2 fights and Randy lost his, how would the bandwagon look then? Let me guess "Crocop > Fedor" or "Randy is too old, he sucks"

And what happened to the Chuck Liddel bangwagon, haven't seen a thread lately about him being the best? Or what about Gonzaga, all the sudden the "Gonzaga is Fedor's biggest threat" threads are gone? What happened?

True fans support their fighter through both wins and losses, not to just go with the latest craze.

Yeah... I don't do that, sometimes I start to fall for the hype but I don't hop on and off bandwagons left and right like most people. The last time I left a bandwagon was... well, I've never really left a bandwagon except for maybe Jackson's because I liked Hendo a little more, but that was for one fight.

as long as people love the sport and continue to support it then I think they are true fans of mma. maybe not a true fan of randy or cc or any fighter.

If you can find me one of example of one sherdog poster that was on the wagon and then off because of a loss than, do it.

Otherwise, STFU!

It's probably not the same people, numbnuts...

if you think that there is such a thing as a "true" mma fan then you aren't a "true" mma fan.
