Couture owns Nog on paper

Better wrestling pedigree, better standup, better overall shape, amazing submission defence. Sorry, the obvious had to be stated. Randy is obviously running from a rabit to fight the dragon though. Because cowards fight the best! Lets not forget Big Nog beat Tim after Tim basically was caught tired which is kindof what Nog does to you.

And what kind of paper are you reading?

Better wrestling yes
Better standup? No freakin way Nog has great boxing and not to mention a better chin
Better shape? Are you kidding/ When has Nog ever gassed? Randy gasses out against bigger fighters like Ricco and Barrnette and got finished by them, Big Nog took them both to decision and won (although ricco was a pretty questionable decision) but at no point in time did he have any trouble with their strength. Oh and Big Nog even has a sleight size advantage over randy
Great Sub defense? How many great sub guys did randy fight aside from Ricco and Barrnette who were content with just pounding him out.

Oh and since you wanna compare their fights with Tim lets compare the fact that Nog finished Tim in 3 rounds and Randy took him to decision and never really had him in deep water once in the fight aside from the flash knock down.

Look at Randy's record, roughly a third of his fights, he looses. Nog has only loss about 1/6, and he has twice the fights as Randy.

Jacare wasn't able to sub Randy, and frankly, I don't see Nog doing it either.

i fell off my chair after reading couture's amazing submission defense.

so nogs a rabbit while fedor's the dragon?

and what the fuck does better wrestling have to do with anythign when nog's a jui jit su guy? if randy's so competent with his wrestling, why didnt he compete in abu dahbi like matt hughes or tito, or barnett did?

better overall shape? yea. I guess overworking a 280 pound, 6-8 giant would indicate that.

crocop even in his status right now would eat couture alive.

You have completely lost touch with reality...On paper, Nog owns Randy....Although the prospect of Randy winning a decision is very real.
