this isnt the first time chael has said this sort of thing. i dont think its contrived. over the top yah i guess but you guys being all cynical saying "no one would like him because hes boring so hes saying this.. " have got it all wrong. this is just him and i dont see why its so hard to believe someone could have an opinion that diverges from the norm naturally.

I disagree that he is top five, but I would be willing to have him in the top 10 right now. He has won 4 of his last 6 only losing to filho and maia, and he avenged the FIlho loss. his last 2 trips in the cage he put together 2 quality wins, and he controlled both fights. However, top 5 I don't think so.

I don't consider that a win. Filho was obviously in the middle of a severe depression/mental breakdown. And Cael still couldn't finish him.

Hey mick, its impressive that you're an orange belt with your lack of mma knowledge. Did you seriously see sonnen tapping the first time against filho? no you didn't watch the replay and weep, I didn't either and neither did frank mir after they showed replays. knowing sonnen personally, i knew he would have got out of the round since there was 10seconds in the round. That is why all the controversy came to play. not cause sonnen was wining saying he didnt tap. don't act like a hardcore mma fan if you didn't watch wec to see chael sonnen NOT tap. Frank mir didnt either, and i dont see why he would be biast....
