Carlos Mencia on Jimmy Kimmel talks about Joe Rogan
Ok, this isn't really MMA related but I know a lot of people have been keeping up with this so I put it where they'd see it. Still, if it must be relocated, no hard feelings.
Anyway, Jimmy bought up the feud, Mencia says he doesn't have a problem with Rogan, it's the other way around. Then Mencia says he learned about Rogan's beef with him when his brother heard them talking about it on the radio and called him about it. He didn't mention the Comedy Store incident. Jimmy said he heard they used to be friends, Carlos said they were only acquantinces.
Mencia again denies stealing jokes. They bought up that he supposedly stole a Cosby bit, Mencia said he grew up on Eddie Murphy and anyone that's listened to his act knows he hasn't listened to too many family friendly comedians. Carlos said there may have been some instances where he coincedentally told the same jokes as someone else but said that's what happens when you do topical humour. He likened it to Jimmy probably telling jokes about the same news stories Leno and Letterman might have done earlier. He then played the race card and said Rogan was unoriginal for being a white guy and accusing a "beaner" of stealing.
Jimmy bought up the fact that Rogan was a "wrestler guy" and that he could kick Mencia's ass. Carlos admited he would get owned but "turned it around" by saying that since Rogan's constantly talking about him he's worried that Joe would use his "wrestling" skills to have his way with him, and that somehow this would get Joe pregnant (it seems to me that if any guy could get pregnant from gay sex it'd be the "catcher", but whatever).
Anyway, if someone wasn't keeping up with the feud before this they probably would have taken Carlos' side but of course he didn't bring up the owning in the comedy store or the many other comedians that have sided with Rogan.
