Calling all Atheists
I would recommend a book to you called "Mere Christianity", by CS Lewis.
It has some very good points. Being that Athiests pride themselves on the wealt of statistical, hypothetical and factual knowlege they possess, I know you out there that consider yourselves Athiests would be doing yourself a service in reading this.

as a non athiest, I think this is trolling, like the other religious threads created in the war room. It's not that the op is bad, it just doesnt contain any content and designed for bashing. We have enough bashing as is.

I suppose you can knock the author all you want, doesnt take anything away from the contents of the book itself.
Im not really sure how it matters anyway that he wrote fictional childrens books either.

Instead of telling us what to read, why not show us your understanding of the material and allow us to see how it stacks up against 'atheist' counterarguments?
I've read it by the way. CS Lewis loves a strawman. But maybe you know something I don't.

So what are the contents that should garner our respect?
I'm not trying to be a dick, but don't expect anyone to listen to you if you're gonna pedal its contents as noble and impressive without first acknowledging what this "content" is.
