Bruce Lee on the state of point fighting in the UFC.
To all the people here on Sherdog who have jumped in this post having my back, I just want to thank you. Some of these replies are just simply amazing. I made this thread not to start an uproar, but to show how relevant the teaching of Jeet Kune Do still are especailly to MMA (UFC) even though it is just a sport, not the fighting style as much as the philosophy itself. I am not a religious man, the philosophy of Bruce is the closes I have, in my own life to religion.

This is the reason why people who follow Bruce Lee respond the way we do, because we know something all you ignorant folks who write him off as a actor don't know, he was much more.
This was something he said in the 70s and applies to the state of MMA today, he truly is Martial Arts Jesus. GSP and Carlos, who I love as fighters, could learn from this, I think Anderson Silva for the most part understands this idea.
