What is your numbah 1 reason for not believing in a higher power?

Is it because God has let you down in the past? or Because you tend to think rationally?

If it's because god has let you down or has never been in your life, then isn't it up to god to find you and bring you back into the light because without him is darkness? (so to speak)

Don't you find it bothersome when some christain comes a knocking on your door trying to convert you?

Don't you agree that if there is a god, then he/she/it will have to show up and make you see the light?

He is after all our Shepherd (Psalm 23) and we are his sheep, so like a good shepherd he should be directing us.

Right??

I am an atheist because I believe that we have a responsibility to ourselves not to justify or normalize the bad things we do buy the fact that we can't help it because we are weak and need divine guidence to help us to make the right choices in life.

If youre broken fix yourself or if you see someone who is broken help them fix themselves.

I think also that knowing and accepting that after life is only decomposition frightens some and makes it hard to find meaning in this life.

Sorry, we are all just energy that gets redistributed back into the world.

Jesus isn't impressed with you. You have a responsibility to know the truth. You are here for this reason. You cannot read the Bible like a science essay, it's much deeper than that. People spend their whole lives trying to comprehend and understand God's word.

You will go before Christ when you die and tell Him you didn't believe in Him because of something you wrote or read on an internet blog? A Chatroom? Something a teacher told you?

If you only knew how much Christ loves you and wants you to be with Him in eternal life in Heaven.

why am i an athiest / agnostic? why do i think christianity is bullshit?

simple, prove it!! prove it!! prove it!! ohhh......... you cant, you cant because its a fucking lie, just as islam is a lie,

if you wonna spend your life dedicated to a fairy tale then thats up to you, but dont expect the rest of us to,

you live, you die, its that simple, and if its not then prove it!! prove it!! prove it!!

What proof do you think that you need? And would that proof be what you needed to leave the cult of atheism and become a Christian?

... yeah, I didn't think it would be either. I think you like living in a lie or else you would actually be open minded to the truth.

Good question. God doesn't let us down. We sin. The effects of that sin affect our lives. We can be forgiven for that sin, however the effect of the sin can still affect our lives. You drink and drive and injure someone at the wheel. You can be forgiven however the person can still be injured. Get the point???
