Warpath is not a warrior

I keep hearing people say Ruben Warpath Villareal is a warrior.... or "Mad props" to Ruben for taking the fight on 2 days notice...

If somebody said to you that in 48 hours you would be 30,000 richer, and all you have to do is fight for 15 or less minutes, would you not accept?

I would fight bas for $30,000...

He's not a warrior, he's doing it for money... nothing wrong with that though... but stop calling him a warrior, or giving him "mad props"

no you wouldnt fight bas for 30,000$, you would never have the oppurtunity because you are not a warrior. any fighter who steps up on short notice to fight a world class fighter gets props in my book.

why don't you stop trolling?

the money aside, he accepted a fight with a man of the caliber of bas rutten at a 48 hours notice, ill-prepared (as he was clearly not in the best shape), and by doing so risking some serious injury. that alone shows the man has a heart and deserves respect.

but even if that's not enough for you, taking the punches villareal took (did you actually see the fight?) without even flinching - punches that would down other opponents rather quickly - deserves him some respect as well.

i think it's a good thing that nobody asked you to fight bas, as the 30k in all probability wouldn't even have covered your hospital expenses.

Definetly.

I didn't say I'd win or anything. 30000 is a lot of money to me.

to me as well, but you realize you'd sustain serious injury from that? bas and fedor are known to be great guys, but none of their cv's read "gentle" or "merciful"
