Anyone upset at the Rampage/Forrest decision? please share stories

dude normally i am more civic about decisions. i try to rationalize to myself and think up creative ways how a guy could be considered winning a fight.

the rampage/forrest thing is really upsetting. a few friends of mine were at a bar and watching it and afterwards many of them expressed how the ufc is corrupt now.

but the thing that takes the cake is a friend of mine who called out that forrest would win called me... i expected him to gloat over the forrest victory but even he said the decision was disgusting and had it rampage winning!

ill probably watch another ufc after the affliction event, but ill have less friends to do it since a lot of them have a very sour taste in their mouth's.

ufc = rigged, corrupt, pro wrestling

it has become very sad now. now they want to somehow set it up so that liddell can be champ again.

Im upset that it wasnt 50-40. I thought every round was 10-8 Forrest.

Thats about as crazy as everyone crying that the UFC is corrupt and fixed. Face it Jackson was either unprepared or taken off of his game and beaten. Even he admits it, I dont see why fans think hes lying.

2 judges gave forrest 10-9 in the first round.

that sounds very corrupt to me.

And what experience do you and these friends of yours have in MMA? And watching does not count.

1 didnt, that sounds corrupt to me.

See how this works.
Jackson stunned him once and dropped him once. Forrest was the aggressor for the round and essentially kept Jackson away with the exception of those two instances. Also remember that Jackson did nothing when on the ground and Griffin got up pretty easily.

I just dont see it as an obvious example of corruption. If Jackson were the aggressor and got the takedown and did something with it I would agree with you. 1 takedown doesnt win a 5 min round.

I agree. 1 flash knockdown does not take a round. The same way 1 failed but close sub attempt doesn't take a round. See the third round of the fight. I'm really suprised that people aren't giving the 3rd round to forrest based on the high threat triangle and a saved by the bell Omoplata.

Also Forrest crippled Rampage with that leg kick. Basically after the leg kick Rampage couldn't really mount that much offense, couldn't hold guard.

That leg kick was the fight. Everyone is talking about how Rampage was screwed by the judges that' retarded he was screwed by having no low kick defense and paid for it with this title. This fight was clearly won by Griffin in my opinion the decision was a good one. However if they fought again with Rampage having some kick defense I think he's the favorite.

I think rampage will change his mind when he sits down and watches the fight. he said in the post fight press conference that he thought he won.

it really doesn't matter what he says anyway. I watched the fight many times and it was clear to me that he won 3 of the rounds.

Now the real controversy comes when you see that 2 of the judges scored 1st round for Griffin which is just plain suspicious.

I don't think anyone is upset about the decision, this thread is not needed.
