Still going strong. Just hard to get him a fight due to the money he commands and the new pool of talent in the K-1 heavies. I did not have enough to book him here in Denver. Awesome fighter not young anymore though. He's pushing the 40's around.

At my old gym in vancouver here he was training there for a bit but then tried to get the sensei to carry his bags for him and the sensei wouldnt do it and got offended and he never came back after that.

seemed quite cocky from when i met him a few times but whatever, he woudlnt remember me anyways, he was wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better than i'll ever be. he was strong.

He has an amazing build, but not very tall for K-1, and he's pretty old now. I think K-1 is not interested in him anymore due to age, plus in his last match (last year) he gave up vs Leko for no apparant reason. MCD was losing vs Leko, but to my knowledge There was no big shot that made him quit, he just knew he couldn't win and he told the ref "no mas!"

I believe his hand was broken or at least injured from a previous match in that tournament. He even skipped his signature of jumping over the top rope because of it. Also, the match was in 2006 (not meant to be nit-picking, just saying).

EDIT: I didn't mean to repeat what Thai Clinch said. I just type to slow...
