Most of the Thai fighters are walking around at least 6 kilos above the weight they fight at, if you dont believe me go to a proper gym and see how the fighters prepare for a big fight at Lumpini or Ratchadamnern and you will see they will have those sweatsuits on for at least 3 days before the fight, if they are on on the tuesday card they willl be out jogging in those suits twice a day on the saturday, sunday and monday and again on the morning of the fight, there is also a sauna situated inside Lumpini by the scales to help fighters.

Agreed, seen it at the camp I was training at in Bangkok.
Fighter the day before his fight was repeatedly going out for runs in a sweatsuit, coming back in toweling off and checking weight, then heading back out to run more

Obviously Rob, some of these guys posting in this thread do not know who you are. Most of them seen the documentary that Slamm did on Anuwat, Seanchai, and Yod for their 4th show, but what they don't know is that you were the one narrating and doing most of the translations for Anuwat and Seanchai. If they knew that, they'd probably listen more. There are not too many people/falang who have access to fights, fighters, and promoters like you do. Listen to this man people! He could teach you something.

spoke to someone yesterday close to Fairtex and they said Yod walks around at about 75, he could probably get down lower than 70, but is not too disciplined with watching his weight.
