Watanabe and Cheon war at K-1 MAX press conference

At the pre-MAX press conference today, former bad boy Japan Boxing champion Kazuhisa Watanabe provoked his opponent, Korean “KID Killer” Jae Hee Cheon by pushing him to the side when they were going to get photographed by the press so that only himself would be left in the centre.

Watanabe said: “Hello. I want to ask Cheon something, did you properly come here with the resignation of being beat by me?”.

Cheon answered: “No problem (in English)”. Watanabe then said: “What do you mean? “Okay”? Why? Come so that I can beat you up!”

To that Cheon said: “You should have been beaten up earlier. I’ll kill you with kicks.”

Watanabe: “Then, please look forward to that. I’ll surely knock you out with my punch. Kicks won’t have any effect.”

I am actually looking forward to this fight. It will be this events most entertaining fight and probably the crowds favorite.

Apart from Buakaw winning the GP, my picks to tomorrow will be as follow.

Mike Zambidis vs HINATA - If Mike fight like his normal he will knock him out, but I have also started to like Hinata. He is a good fighter with a nice style to watch. But I go with my old favorite Zambidis.

Artur Kyshenko vs Toofan - I don't know nothing about the quality of kickboxing in Iran, but I know many Iranians training in Denmark and Sweden, and Iranians are tough by nature. Regardless, Arthur will crush this noob.

Taishin Kohiruimaki vs DRAGO - Sometimes you pick some fights because of your dislike for some certain fighters. I don't like Kohi's style. I hope Drago will crush him so we don't have to see him more future K1 Max events.

Kozo Takeda vs Albert Kraus - One is to old, the other one is getting older and slower for every fight I see him in. Takeda can bring a surprise, so can everybody else. Kraus by UD.

Kazuhisa Watanabe vs Jae Hee Cheon - I really liked the combos from this South Korean in his fight against Kid. If he fights smart, he will lowkick Watanabe to hell. He just have to stay away from the former boxing champions rushes and move to the side and kick him to death.

Yoshihiro Sato vs Yasuhiro Kido - Tough fight for Kido. I really like Sato. He has a strong heart and a nice forward and never give up style. I wish him all the luck.

Andy Souwer vs Buakaw Por.Pramuk - For the real fan, we all know Andy has lost 2 fights of 2 against the graceful Thai. He will lose again.

Yuya Yamamoto vs Giorgio Petrosyan - Go go Yuya! Give him hell for 3 rounds and make sure the judges bring it to a fourth. But Petrosyan is the winner of this fight.

Yuichiro Nagashima vs Xu Yan - I don't know nothing about the Chinese guy, but I am very sure Nagashima will win the fashion contest.

Sorry but Cheon had a lot of trouble initially against Kids punches. Watanabe isnt going to throw the same punch 5x in a row

Kido is a younger and less experienced version of Sato

Zambidis/Hinata is manslaughter
