Semmy had a training camp in GG Romania

Yesterday he was sparring and gave a mea geri to a 24 year old Roemenian fighter, this fighter died after the kick and it is huge news all over Roemenia.

Semmy is traveling today back to Holland to finish training there for the K-1 GP and trying to deal with this freaking accident just 2 weeks before the K-1 GP finals.

it has nothing to do with schilt. It says in the report that the man suddenly collapsed and had trouble breathing and died shortly after.

semmy schilt is mentioned twice, once in the article and once in the video and both times it is simply described as the "home of 3x k1 champ semmy schilt" for 2 weeks in romania. It is not even mentioned schilt was there at the time the guy died, and if he was training with them at the time they probably would have mentioned it. Nothing about a kick from schilt, that's stupid

I have found another article about the death, it says here "Vitali Mitu was very excited to be there because he was looking forward to training with the legend schilt"

Dude, you need to get your facts straight as a bunch of other posters are claiming your info isn't accurate...that is, it doesnt state that SCHLIT caused the death.

Man this is horrible news all around.

Ive got no doubt Semmy Schilt could kill a man with a well placed technique. Hopefully more information comes out, nobody likes to hear of a death in combat sports.
