just watched it
semmys reach was such that he could throw leg kicks all day with almost no danger to himself,Hunt had trouble getting in there,but i think had it kept going he mightve eventually landed something significiant,he almost caught semmy with that leaping punch,and Hunt always tried crazy stuff.Its amazing how fast that kick was for such a huge man.Yes Hunt is a rock,but if you have any sense,youd realize theres probably no one who coudlve sustained the force of that kick..Hunt tried to get up but im sure he knew hed had it.

You can't take a step back when you're against the ropes. Schilt backed Hunt against the ropes, threw a right to set up the kick. The right made Hunt put his guard up and plant his feet for head movement which set Hunt up for a shot to the body. Except instead of a body punch or knee he had Schilt's whole weight added to the torque generated by a spinning kick. Besides you act as if Hunt was really the type to dodge and move that kick, sure Hunt has pretty evasive defense but that's mostly in the head movement department. He's never in his best even, ever been the fast footwork type of fighter. Hell that's what makes him famous if anything, his willingness to plant his feet and duke it out in the pocket.
