Tiger Muay Thai, Phuket...??
I am planning a trip to Thailand next year and was looking for a really good school. Originally we were going to go to the Muay Thai Institute in Bangkok... and i'm not sure if i really want to stay IN bangkok so i started to look for other options.

I came across Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket. I've heard of this school before but have never met anyone who's been there. They seem pretty foreigner friendly & pretty serious about training - not to mention the location! Anyone been there before? Or is there anyone out there that can give good advice for a school possibilty..?

Here's what i'm looking for:

School w/ housing options. I'm looking to go 4-6 weeks, and would like to stay AT the school.
A school thats SERIOUS about producing fighters, not a tourist location.
A school that trains females.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I don't know anything about particular schools but I have heard nothing but good news from the training camps in Phuket!

Honestly, I haven't heard about the gym. Phuket is great from what I hear. All the south beaches are great. Make some time to check out the islands down there.

Phuket is for fat, sweaty, old German and Brit punters who like to bang women four decades (at least) their junior.

Patong beach is nice though--during low season and AFTER Songkran.

Try Koh Samui for something more low key. Maybe Koh Tao has a school, too?
