Shot at the eliminations

Which fighter would you give a shot to qualify for the eliminations 20008 in september?

I'd like to see Saki get a chance, he made a very strong impression in Amsterdam 2008 when he dispatched of Paul Slowinski. Slowinski will get another chance to qualify as he takes part in the Hawai event.

Bregy would be another possibility.

final 16 will be:

Schilt
Aerts
Bonjasky
Hari
JBL
Hong Man
Feitosa
Junichi

Karaev
Teixeira
Zimmerman
HAWAII champ (Slowinski, Mo???)

that leaves four spots open, the HW and SHW get a spot but since they are part of last year's final 8 (Hari and Schilt), it's irrelevant, leaving those four spots to be FEG/fans picks.

i'll go with:

Musashi
Samedov
Sefo (???)
Noda

I think Maeda will get a push over Noda. Die Faust and Mo have decent chances of winning the hawaii tournament, but I'm predicting Slowinski.

If that holds, that leaves 4. Let's say Mo wins Hawaii, Chalid and Paul should get in still, or any 2 of them if another wins.

*Sefo and Musashi are two of my favorite always, but they don't deserve a FRESS PASS to the final 16 this year, Musashi hasn't beaten anyone quality, and Sefo hasn't even won a match. So here's the final four I would like to see.

1) Slowinski
2) Chalid Arrab
3) Pichkunov (finalist in his last 3 tourneys I believe)
4) Maeda (2 quality wins this year, Mo & Musashi & a finals appearance)

So no one would like to see Saki take part in a qualifying tournament?

Is Leko's knee better yet? I think he had surgery. And Pat Barry is not fighting K-1 this year, he's doing MMA.
