Shorts

When watching the Max final the other week, I was struck by the design of the shorts worn by Buakaw.

They looked great. Shame, I can't find a decent picture and can't upload my own screenshot. But those of you who watched it will definitely know the ones I mean (white and gold).

As did the ones he wore in the Final 16:

Has anyone seen either of these for sale anywhere?

Any links would be much appreciated.

Also, I saw these awesome shorts (which were worn by Yod):

The materials used in them are obviously the same as other fairtex shorts, but they're far more expensive than regular fairtex shorts. These are just over £50 (about 85 USD), whereas Fairtex shorts usually sell for around £30 (about 50 USD).

I'm most likely going to buy them anyway, the price difference doesn't bother me. I'm just wondering if anyone has any idea as to why these shorts are nearly twice as much as other fairtex shorts, when the only difference is the design...

I uploaded screenshots here:
Buakaw - MyPicx.com

I can't embed the images without them going really small...

The one on the left is from the final and the one on the right is from the final 16. Click on the images for a full size, properly proportioned picture.

If anyone has seen anything similar to either of these, please let me know.

I figured that they would be, but when I tried to make some similar custom ones, nowhere had the options needed to get them anything like.

It was a long shot, but they did release the "Soul" ones he wore a few years ago.

I'm also intrigued by the waistband on them, it says "SINGHA".
Is this a brand we don't get outside Thailand? (I'm guessing not, as nobody wears branded shorts in K-1)

Or does SINGHA mean something? Is it a word? What does it mean?

Thank you for the help.

They're not quite the ones I was after (I already got those ones).

Singha is the leading brewery in Thailand but as far as i know those articles aren´t sold by now. I contacted them but got one of those very nice thai-style answers somewhere between yes and no...

Figures...

So it would be like me fighting with 'Carling' across the front of mine?

It's a real shame that they don't sell them. They are among the nicest designs I've seen, and they would sell loads.

Maybe Thai shorts are destined to (in the majority) have terrible designs. There's so many ugly shorts, and out of the really good ones, very few are ever mass produced.
