Ruslan Karaev
Does anyone else think he can pull a major upset and beat Hari? I think with his speed he might be able to surprise alot of people. This is gonna be a sick fight. I'm madd because I'm new to K-1 but I have been watching fights non stop for the past 3 days and they are my 2 favorite fighters and I wish they had been in different brackets so i could see them each win a fight.

Of course he can, in their second fight he even knock Badr down. EDIT: In the first fight too, but all that controversy surrounded it ... However Hari is so improved, I only think Bonjasky can touch him, and probably Overeem because of the mental advatange that would be his K.O win over him.
I am dissapointed this two clash with each other in the first fight of the night, but hey, talk about coming out with a bang.

K-1 is fucking amazing all these matchups are exciting. It doen't even matter who were to win in the 1st round, any of the guys who win would make for an exciting fight. It's great.

Welcome to K-1,I wish more MMA fans would be like you in this regard.
Did you watch some K-1 MAX fights too? Those guys are exciting as hell. Andy Souwer vs Artur Kyshenko,Gago Drago vs Yuya Yamamoto,Buakaw Por Pramuk vs Andre Dida,Nieky Holzken vs Faldir Chahbari were some recent fights I enjoyed, check them out if you havent seen yet.

Andy Souwer is my favorite among the little guys. I watched the 2007 Max finals when he beats Masato in the final. I have been downloading as many K-1 events as possible on my computer. What do Souwer and Masato weigh? But they are just as exciting as the big guys (if not more actually). I downloaded the final 16 2009 max tournament. As soon as I finish that i'm gonna download the final which was like a week ago I think. What event were the fights you listed in?

Ruslan Karaev is one of the most exciting fighters, though he gets knocked out lots of times because of his agressive style. Sure he can win, their last 2 fights were though.
Probably the Gp will go to Bonjaski or Shilt, but who knows, it's hard to tell.

Ruslan is sick but Hari is such a monster now.. the dude KO'ed schilt in 45 seconds earlier this year. Ruslan can win but I seriously doubt he will.

No I don't think so. The fight Karaev beat him, I think Hari was coming off an injury when Peter Graham broke his jaw. Maybe he had some lingering injuries, or perhaps it was just a mental thing. Either way, its clear it affected him in that fight. Its going to be alot different this time. I think Hari finishes him before the fight goes to a decision, if not and Karaev takes him to a decision that could play a big factor on the rest of the night.
