Who here thinks that Sefo should retire?
He has been awful lately.
against Hari and Aerts he didnt do anything at all. He also lost to Bregy...
He is like 1-5 on his last fights. I think he should quit because he is going to be seriously hurt if he continues to get beatdowns like vs. Hari.

His best days are clearly behind him, but if the guy wants to fight, and gets his medical clearence, I see no reason why he should quit.
Incidentally, people were saying the same thing about Aerts about 5 years ago, and Peter has had somewhat of a renaissance in the last year or 3.........

One year it goes well and another you can not perform the way you trained for...
Sefo is an K-1 legend and still belongs with the best 16 in the world

Good point, but I disagree. Aerts was pretty bad around 2001 and it was indeed due to lack of training and motivation (his injuries probably caused it) and the same goes for Le Banner (movies ). However I think Sefo is another story, he lacks size (height en reach) and that’s the reason why he always takes a lot of damage during fights. Short guys like him never last long.
People have to realize Sefo is already 37 and I think that he also lacks the stamina right now to go at full pace during 3 rounds. His showboating didn’t’ work against Hari ( he usually does that to regroup and to recover ), Hari just kept on the pressure. This was quite a painful display to see Sefo getting slaughtered. I don’t think he should be fighting against the top opposition anymore, mainly to protect himself. It was not a pretty sight. But he sure can still crush soft opposition, so he can still do superfights - it all depends on the opposition.
Normally I would say Sefo, Le Banner, Aerts, Hoost in order of retirement.
Aerts is still a question mark right now, he was looking very good for a while but eventually he ran had again into a serious injury. I don’t know if it is still possible to make a successful comeback at the age of 38, coming from a severe knee injury. ( in the sense of being as successful as he was last year without sustaining a new injury )

Personally I don't think someone should retire just because they lose some fights. Though you should try something different if what your doing obviously isn't working.
