Ramon Dekkers or Dany Bill?

Who do u like better as a fighter?

Both fought in Thailand, same era, different skillsets. Both not very good looking (lol)

This is a hard one for me.

Dekkers was an animal in the ring with the heart of a lion and used to rage at his opponents. Hard punches, hard kicks, explosive, but his european fighting style was so damn ugly to me!

Dany was a technician, had beautiful knees, nice kicks, great sweeps and alot of tricks up his sleeve. I just wish he'd knock more fools out tho, i think his boxing was lacking, he cou;d use more aggression too.

these two legends meet in the ring...i think twice??

Dekkers is the most overrated MT fighter ever. Bill was much better imo.

Danny Bille I have to pick. He was probably the best Muay Thai farrang fighter outside of Thailand as far as technique is concerned. He was better than Dekker yes.

With that said I still cant stop watching Ramon Dekkers, because he just didn't give a shit. He moved forward to crush and destroy you.... even if he got destroyed in the process. Bille was a beautiful (technique) to watch. He was a master. Ramon was a great athlete who was not as technical but would attack you at all costs.

Both Hall of Fame. Bille before Dekker though.

I think that the the MT connoisseur crowd is too quick to dismiss Dekkers. He was a hard man, a very dangerous and entertaining fighter. But I still have to say Bill.

Dekkers fought injured and wasn't the same fighter since his wars in thailand. Anyone comparing danny bill too him is an idiot. Dekkers in thailand would sometimes fight 2 stadium champions in one week. He would fight in france on friday and in thailand on saturday. Don't compare the two. Dekkers name should only be mentioned in the same sentence with a few other thais. Legend!

Not to mention Dekkers had over 200 fights already, his body was battered. his doctor told him to stop fighting. His right leg was screwed, he trained himself to kick with just the left but he continued to use the right sometimes.

He was too old, gassed quickly, and his body was broken. He couldn't use elbows here. Dekkers just fought cause he bought a new house, and didn't really prepare. He would have killed bill in his prime, just ask any thai.
