Muay Thai Banana Bags - Leather or Synthetic Leather... Does it really matter

Will be buying a couple of thai bags and I see that synthetic leather is also another option to regular leather bags. Is there a benefit besides that they're a little cheaper?

They can break down faster, it all depends on the quality of the clarino.
