Remy...Unimpressive.

He had;

[significant]
reach,
height,
weight,
and experiance advantages over Manhoeff and still got owned from the inside.

All manhoeff had to do was keep throwing from the close range to neutralize the kick and he would have won.
[i think the only body part working on remy was his right foot.]

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Da Bonj, but the old remy would have ko'd manny 2 minutes into the first round.

Manny get my respect.
I don't know if he's gonna be ready for dream 3, or at in least top form.

your completely wrong, Remy would not play Manhoefs game, he landed heavy kicks from the outside, and Melvin was desperately looking for a KO punch, Remy covered up and dropped Melvin with knees from the inside, Melvin was not able to hurt Remy because his defense was too good (I think it was a smart move not to brawl with Manhoef and pick him apart with a good game plan)
Haha if all he had to do was keep swinging why didnt he do it? because he knew it was a matter of time before he got knee'd in the head (notice how quick he was to purposely fall to the ground that one time when Remy went for the clinch, which was a smart move because Remy dropped him with the same knee when he got up). Desperately swinging for the fences is not owning someone on the inside, I give tons of props to melvin for getting in there, and doing as well as he did, but he was outclassed.

What do you think he was trying to do? blackknight's take on it is pretty much on the money.

Like NoviVavilon said, Remy couldn't/didn't even come close to KOing Manhoef in their first fight, which means that you're wrong. Remy barely eeked out that win imo.

But I do agree on Remy being unimpressive.

this thread is unimpressive so whenever he doesnt K.O a fighter under 2 minutes it comes across unimpressive even though he won a nice clean cut decision and had some knock downs thats not impressive?

So Remy is unimpressive just because he didn't engage in a brawl? What Remy did was real, high class kickboxing, I can't believe would rather watch an ugly brawl than that.
