K1 GP and the reserve fights........
If a fighter is unable to continue after advancing in the tournament, does his bested foe take his spot, or is it the winner of the reserve fight?
When Sapp beat Hoost and was unable to continue, Hoost was given the spot. (2002)
When Bonjasky beat Leko and was unable to continue it was Aerts (the reserve fight winner) who got the spot. (2006)
I ask, as I think there is a reasonable chance of pull outs this year, what with very competitive fights, and certain contestants having questionable stanima.
