With 1999 still in his mind, Le Banner started off cautiously but eventually couldn't hold back his temper and landed a huge left on Hoost in the closing seconds of the first. Hoost and his team threw in the towell in between rounds for an injury on his ankle I think. Good for Hoost as I think he would have lost anyways after a tough battle with Van Dams
This was one of Le Banner his prime years, undefeated that year, but he missed the Finals that year because of a car crash.
