Van Damme used to be the man, unfortunately he ages just any other human being. He used to be quite an inspiration for many people to start with fighting sports. Crocop and Le Banner make no secret of the fact that Van Damme inspired them a lot. He was great and made some nice movies, well past his prime he still deserves some respect for what he has done and what he has achieved.
