Forget it about Kaminoko. This guy has no knowledge about stand up sports. Iron CHin is given naturally but normally chin can be muscled up and be condition by carrying weights in your teeth.

I don't think Hunt's chin is any different ,because he went down to against manhoef where he got hit on the button....

If you get hit on the jaw, training your neck will help you alot.
Hunt took a shot directly from Mirko's kick and he got up without no problem.

the majority of fighters who took that shot would of stayed down or be out for the count.

when Nog took that huge punch from Fedor and then continuously being punch like a punching bag, he was alive because he has a good chin. he didnt do anything to train his chin to be that way.

and i would like to see scientific documents on how you can vastly improve your chin from you guys cause this is news to me. you can only improve your chin marginally or else every fighter would be extremely hard to KO and we would be seeing decisions in K-1 99% of the time or see fighters being chopped by leg kicks.

Fujita is hard to knock out because of his hard head, Mirko stated in his second fight with Fujita that his knees hurt like hell after the fight since he was making contact with Fujita's head repeatedly.

Mirko never reported that problem with any other fighter, Fujita was born with a hard skull, he didnt train his skull/head to be hard.

his main argument that you are born with a strong chin and others are not. you can improve your chin but only minimal. not make it super strong like some folks are

He definitely is one of the greatest. Unfortunately you wont get a unanimous verdict on who is the best ever on a internet forum.

People detract from what Semmy has done because they feel his size is a major advantage (which is in fact true). His size allows him to fight far less dangerous fights and that does not make him a fan favorite. He will never get the accolades of other K-1 greats, but he deserves them.
I guess most people want to cheer for people they can relate to...not many of us can relate to Semmy.

Semmy Schilt has done enough to be considered the best K-1 fighter. This is the top5 list:

1.Semmy Schilt
2.Ernesto Hoost
3.Peter Aerts
4.Ray Sefo
5.Mirko Filipovic

Semmy reigned over a roster of fighters past their prime or yet to enter it. He's nowhere near as impressive as Aerts, who reigned over all the greatest fighters in their primes and with style. And Mirko over JLB?

Thanks for your input JWP, great to see a pro interacting with fans. Best of luck in the future.
