Hinata x zambidis

up on youtube

hinata absolutely punished zambidis for 3 rounds with left middles, in lows
controlled the distance and ring very well
probably the worst type of opponent (style-wise) for zambidis

the worst part of it was zambidis' acting
he went down 2X (1 from an inlow, the other from a spinning back kick to the liver)

if you watch the replay, kicks were no where near his balls
but everytime he goes down he grabs his nuts

c'mon mike
the entire stadium and people at home can see the replay
that's not gonna win you any fans man

nonetheless it was amusing

The second nut shot was all acting, but the first one wasn't. I replayed it a few times, and I could hear the pop of a cup.

I'm thinking the second time was just because he was still sore from the first one. But it was definitely not a direct shot. I honestly thought he was going to puke in the ring.

The back kick was iffy, but those other shots sounded like they caught him on the cup.

ya the guy is human, taking even a slight nut shot can hurt and mess with you mentally, i am sure any dude has taken a shot too the pills can agree its painfull. I have been hit just below the cup sparring and the kick didnt hit the pills but kicked just below the cup enouph to push up and damn it was painfull.

Very impressive performance by Hinata, stuck to his gameplan very well. Zambidis not so impressive, just trying to look for the one big hook, not to mention faking some nut shots.

I've gotten hit in the nuts and if you get hit in the abdomen after that, you might as well have been hit in the nuts again. All the nerves are connected and pretty exposed. You can't go on sparring or anything, the whole area just feels like something is wrong.

Then again I haven't watched the fight in close detail so maybe he faked it but Mike doesn't seem like that sort of fighter.. I'll have to check it out later

I hate it when guys just clinch up when the opponent comes in punching range. In k1 at least. in muay thai thats legit of course.
