He said he could curl 250lbs one time. Like everyone said, his MMA record isnt the best, but his fights are usually great.

I remember right after the switch, i thought, "man, he's out of his fricking mind..." Then he went on a pretty good streak of wins. I was at the fight where he KO'd Shawn (or Sean, whatever) O'Hare and Scott Lightly, then got Brasil Kicked by Glaube Feitosa. He hit pretty hard that night...
edit
he's fought MMA this year, he got KO'd

Goodrige is the "scrub killer" he beats the lowly fighters so badly that you believe Goodridge is elite, but then when Goodridge faces the elite, he usually loses badly. Still he commands respect he has done it all MMA, boxing, K-1 and has a winning record, and the guy was an armwrestling champion and a hell of a weight lifter. What a career.

Im not intending to disparage other fighters but people like ken shamrock and tank abbott are constantly mentioned as MMA legends..... fact is Gary Goodridge is a TRUE legend and has achieved more than both of those guys put together.
To do what he did for so long. I mean this guy surfaced at UFC 8!! and to have competed so long and competitively in Pride FC and than go on to a highly succesfull if not top tier career in K1 is simply amazing.
He lost a lot of fights and perhaps on his best day Ken Shamrock would have handled the 1996-1998 version of Gary but since than with people like Ericcson and Coleman training him he has come on leaps and bounds. An MMA legend
