K-1 World Max Final 8

07/07/2008

Buakaw Por. Pramuk vs. Yoshihiro Sato
Andy Souwer vs. Warren Stevelmans
Yasuhiro Kido vs. Artur Kyshenko
Drago vs. Masato
Albert Kraus vs. Mike Zambidis
Andre Amade vs. Remigijus Morkevicius
Haruaki Otsuki vs. David Douge
Susumu Daiguji vs. Konstantin Trishin
Daisuke Uematsu vs. Eddy Juozapavicius
Hirotaka Urabe vs. Denis Telitsa
Alviar Lima vs. Mark Vogel

Clearly K-1 is positioning the favorites to go to the next round. Kraus v Zambidis should be interesting but I would have to pick Kraus who has the superior boxing techniques and range. Kraus has turned it up a notch this year in performance. His counter striking and kicking is much improved. Buakaw has started using his best weapon, the teep to great effect recently.

So we have alot of potential one sided affairs and a few that could be back fourth with no clear favorite.

Ummmm no. The fighters draw random numbers and they get to pick their fights and their positions on the bracket.

i hope kido does great in the tournament. it's too bad i have to root against kyshenko for him to do so, but oh well. kido to the top.

They're assuring us some highlight KO's with that.

Next round should be amazing.
