Front kick KO (video) + Kohirumaki vs Gago Drago discussion
Anyone remember this gem ? One of the reasons I like Kohiruimaki, the only guy in K1 to ever Ko someone with a front kick, and front kicks are among my favorites.
BTW Kohiruimaki is fighting Gago Drago as a super fight on the K1 max WGP card within the next 24 hours. I take him by UD. Drago can pressure him and stay on the inside but he doesn't have Kalakodas boxing or Masatos Power to expose this weakness of Kohi (inside fighting, trading punches). Not counting Drago out tough. And if Kohi has the confidence to box a little like in the Japan GP then this will be a very fun fight.

It's a pity that Nitta is now mostly remembered for being on the end of this KO. This overshadows his legacy (not the least of which is showing Kit Cope what MAX level fighter can do).
Kohiruimaki got beat handily. But tried to turn it around till the end and didn't back up much. Drago was just landing the better clean strikes throughout the fight.
BTW Sato vs Kido was a pretty sweet fight too.

Me not, I like this front kick best. And since you are mentioning knees , the one against Kozo was pretty nice too.
